BI research assistant, Bálint SzÅ‘ke won a shared first prize in the academic competition of Regional Centre for Energy Policy Research.
The award-winning essay is a policy analysis about the pricing practice of the Hungarian district heating system. The price determinig factors are analysed in relation to compliance with goals formulated in the law. According to the author’s opinion, the current system is not capable of ensuring compliance.
